Food puts me to sleep. I am able to think shallowly but that's it. That's half the day. All the days. For 5+ years. Even when fasting for 16h and more. It's still better when fasting but when I eat, the next 5 hours, and sometimes more, are gone.
When I eat often, say 3 times or more a day, then one or two hours after a meal I'm a little sluggish and then a little sluggish again. So I can maintain the sluggishness. But when eating often, I'm still less conscious throughout the day as a whole. So for that reason I still prefer fasting.
The solution is to fast and eat less during the eating windows. That means losing weight which I'm currently uncomfortable losing.
